Thanks, guys. Looks like Tim is right, as this sure looks like what she had in Columbus:

Thanks for the title (50’s French Movie)

A correction above – I made some sort of silly subliminal error. The new Carrie Rodriguez song is actually called the Mask of Moses.

It was a decent show in Columbus last night, at the Lifestyle Communities “Pavilion”. It’s a rather unique venue. The stage straddles the wall of a building – in the summer, performers face outside, otherwise they face inside. Inside, there is a standing-only floor, but we opted for seats along a rail the equivalent of about a dozens rows back, more or less center, several feet above the floor. It sounded just fine there, and we had a nice view.

It wasn’t the greatest Lucinda Williams performance I’ve ever seen (she botched and restarted the first two songs), but it was a pretty good 110 minutes. She seemed to be having a good time.

    Lucinda Williams – vocals, guitar
Doug Pettibone – guitar, pedal steel
David Sutton – electric bass, electric upright bass (I’m not 100% sure about him – I couldn’t hear her intro)
    Butch Norton – drums
Carrie Rodriguez – fiddle, from Essence to end of show

    Rescue
    Ventura
    Fruits of My Labor
    Pineola
    Drunken Angel
    Right on Time
    Out of Touch
Still I Long For Your Kiss
    Righteously
    Come On
    Change the Locks
    Essence
    Unsuffer Me
    Atonement
    Get Right With God

    Everything Has Changed
    I Envy the Wind
Something About What Happens When We Talk
Real Live Bleeding Fingers and Broken Guitar Strings

The encore was nice. The first song was performed by the trio of Lucinda on acoustic guitar, Carrie on fiddle, and “David” on electric standup bass. They were joined (softly) by Doug and Butch for the next song, then “David” switched back to electric bass for a rowdier finish.

Carrie Rodriguez opened the evening with a very nice hour-long set.

Carrie Rodriguez – vocals, fiddle, “guitar” (some sort of small guitar with lots of strings, sounded somewhat like a mandolin)
    Hans Holzen – guitar
    Sam Baker – drums
    Kyle Kegerreis – upright bass

    Dirty Leather
    Seven Angels on a Bicycle
    Before You Say Another Word
I Don’t Want to Play House Any More
    Blackberry Blossom (instrumental)
    Got Your Name On It
    The Mask of Zorro (new)
    Big Kiss
“I’ll Leave You Now If You Don’t Want Me”
    “What Kinda’ World Is This?”
    Never Gonna Be Your Bride
    St. Peters

I’d be grateful to anyone who can supply titles for the Carrie Rodriguez songs I couldn’t identify.
