nice one, “failer” has a great track called “one more song the radio wont like”, jesus, very lucinda sounding. she’s not a copy cat thou, great songs and great music.

i spoke to gurf last year, ( he tours with slaid cleeves, a brilliant songwriter from nashville). he never said anything bad about lucinda, and was happy going about with slaid and doing his production thing.
a really nice (dry) guy.
btw, have any of you heard of kathleen edwards? she very lucinda williams sounding. her “back to me ” album is excellent, her first album “failer” could be mistaken as lucinda, she is a fan.
also look out for an unreleased lucinda williams track called “letters” on laura cantrells “humming by the flowered vine”
