I nearly fell off my chair this morning when I got the newsletter from AllBlues (one of the biggest concert organisers/promoters in Switzerland) that Lucinda will be playing her first ever show in Zürich/Switzerland on Saturday, June 8th @ Kaufleuten, a wonderful club and my favourite place for concerts here in town.

So did I when I got the allblues newsletter! Not only Lucinda but together with Doug; that’s the icing on the cake!
But this time, PLEASE, fans of Lucinda who are on this forum and will come to the Zurich show, PLEASE let’s meet and enjoy the show together. It makes more fun with people who appreciate the artist and know the songs. It was disapointing at the shows in Basel and Lucerne, where no one really seemed to know Lucinda and her song material.

Unfortunately we cannot receive WDR where I live. Could someone please send me a dvd copy (Switzerland is where I live)?!? I would of course pay for the costs. I’ve seen her in Paris and Basel and would so much like to have a memory of her european tour. Hopefully she comes back. She was marvellous. Please contact me if someone has a spare copy.

It was a terrific show. Probably the best I’ve ever been to. Not only because of Lucinda and her band but also due to the fantastic venue/audience!!! Were you guys also among the ones who met her after the show when they were clearing the stage? She seemed to be happy with the evening and claimed that she wanted to stay there in Paris and not move on to London…We even got pictures with her. What a night!Yes, great show, fantastic band, wonderful Lucinda!
The only regret is that most of the crowd seemed to be there for Chuck Berry not Lucinda. IMHO she did not receive the applause she deserved.
Anyway looking forward to Paris!!!You are right about the avo session swisschris. The audience is not the best and I hate it to keep still at some table when it’s rocking on the stage. Have you been there at the Emmylou/Spyboy concert as well?
Thanks for persuading Lucinda to come… and try to make her come again to another venue like for instance the frison in fribourg or the bierhübeli in bern 😀
