It’s getting to the point where I’m just not buying tix in advance; I’ll hustle them at the door on the night of the show.
I just looked at tix for Further, fees = 26% of ticket price, and that is printing them myself!
And I’m really annoyed by the ‘security words’ that I cannot read…bobParticipantIt was really good…the best part was LW standing on the side, smiling, like she was really enjoying his way of doing the song.
bobParticipantI saw them do it live together in Boston 2 years ago!
bobParticipantI hope this comment doesn’t get me banned, but I like Taylor Swift!

Caller Vance Gilbert from Arlington, MA knew Lu personally as well. He has his own band-into folksinging.

he’s playing the Iron Horse Northampton MA on Jan 8 !
BoB will be therebobParticipantthat’s one of the best LW articles I’ve read– and I read them all. Thanks for link!
bobParticipant“You’re the Great one, I’m Marty McSorly”
Kathleen Edwards- ‘I make the Dough’
bobParticipantI caught LW doing that song with him last year…really nice. Was it Boston?

Boy, this is a dusty thread. Are there any other Patty fans here?

I LOVE Patty Griffin!
and re: another thread Kathleen Edwards also
bobParticipantI agree with the part of the annoying requests for songs…
bobParticipantJUST MY OPINION-
But the only real competition is from Wilco…bobParticipanthaven’t seen it yet (blocked at wo*k) but thanks in advance…I can’t wait to see this at home.
bobParticipantAWESOME – I just posted in the other thread hoping someone would have this…now how about Bobby McGee?
bobParticipantwish I could get a copy of ‘Me and Bobby McGee, Ball and Chain”…I’d really like to hear that.
Interesting re: ‘Silver threads and golden needles’?- never heard Janis doing it, (I love the Linda Ronstadt version) so did a wiki search, appears the Dead did it in concert in the late sixties. Interesting stuff.

It wasn’t the closer in Greensboro, Tom, but I know it usually is.
So then the question becomes, what was the closer on the setlist in Providence?
Tom
Agreeance Long Way usually the closer; but it seemed she skipped some songs in between.
BUT STILL AGREAT SHOW!!! GLAD I WENT….
