Inside Job is the fourth studio album by Don Henley, released in 2000, and his last album of all-new material to date.
lwjYawn. Another same old, same old show he’s been doing forever. Only the prices have changed!
Anyone want to guess how many ‘Greatest Hits’ albums the Eagles have released?
I used to be a big fan until they sold out.bobParticipant@Lafayette wrote:
HA! I was JUST mentioning in recent conversation my first date with my husband was a Don Henley show at Riverbend Music Center. He puts on a FANTASTIC show…I would love to see this!
Don Henley puts on a mediocre show at best…and at those prices? No way Jose.
And I have seen him solo and with the Eagles about a dozen times.bobParticipantthose prices are BULL**IT…
I remember the Eagles as starting the trend to outrageous ticket prices- I have seen them a dozen times before the trend and HIM ALONE?I spend a LOT of money on seeing live acts- but refuse to support this elite pricing.
bobParticipantOK I realize I am a ‘Cheerleader’ so am obviously biased…but I thought it was a good show- good setlist, a really nice venue. Don’t know what other songs the downers wanted but I was happy with the show.
I had previously posted here complaining about short shows and the whole Amos Lee co headlining thing, but the length was fine; and Amos Lee I am now a fan of.
To put in perspective I saw Allison Krausse the following night- it was a great show but my GF and I both agreed we thought Lucinda was a better show and regretted not making the drive to NH.

Copenhagen
Convince Mebut don’t remember the order played…
Oh yeah- and Lucinda looked HOT!
bobParticipantwhy not change the order and have LW come out first…
I feel badly when an opener ‘loses’ the audience and they are trying to be polite but really just want to see the main act.
a quote form the NJ show:
‘Amos Lee got a lot of time, finished around 9:15. Got a good reaction from the crowd, but for me an ok’ish band, and he got kind of tiresome for me. No real desire to see him again…’
I am sure he is a fine performer, but not the reason I am going.
I saw her play GreenField Balloon fest a couple years back, and even with a dozen other different bands playing she played longer than some of the sets from this tour.bobParticipant@nycnudistcpl wrote:
She should be able to play as many songs as she feels like playing. That should be the artists decision. This kind of nonsense didnt used to happen 15, 20, 25 years ago.Wish Lu wouldn’t play shows where her own artistic desire is resticted by others. If I’m gonna fork out the money for 3-4 tickets, which doesnt come easy, it’s not gonna be for a scenario like this.Catch ya next time.
Right on- I really don’t care about seeing Amos Lee, or the opener who’s name I’ve already forgotten from the HOB Boston last time. Nice to give them exposure but with these tough economic times it’s hard to spend money on ‘entertainment’.
If it’s a double bill then they should both play full sets.bobParticipantMost of us here would prefer more LW and less AL…I really wish she’d start earlier.
bobParticipantnice songs but seems like a *yawn* quiet night. I like the slow ballads, but prefer to see them mixed in with faster songs.
Just my opinion that’s all…bobParticipant@haunted wrote:
Greenfield Festival with Emmylou Harris and Wanda Jackson. Figured I still get to see some amazing artists.
I will be attending the show the day before NH in Holyoke. So I am not totally missing out on Lucinda’s tour. 😀
How was Emmylou? Setlist? or at least highlights/encore
I was there but had family obligations so had to leave during Wanda Jackson.Patty Larkin was amazing- worth the price of a 2 day ticket just for her act.
Anyone want to do a pre Holyoke meet- up?

New Riders are still around? Was it at the iron Horse?
sorry for the belated reply Tony-
It was at the Iron Horse, and it is 66.6% of the original founding members. Buddy cage and David Nelson. John Dawson passed away a couple years back RIP.
David Nelson can still really bend the strings- these guys are getting old but really put on a good show. Last song was ‘Glendale Train’ with the whole crowd singing along…bobParticipant1- Mamas don’t let your babies…
2- Angel
3- Long Way to the Top (I really miss this as a show closer)
4- Disgusted
5- Stop Breaking DownbobParticipant@spencecb wrote:
It was fantastic…truly no words to describe the sound and the silence at the same time. The sound of the music and Lucinda, and the complete silence of the audience.
yeah I heard her do Angel in Concord NH- it was really nice!
bobParticipantI’ll be going to see her in Greenfield, MA Jul 17- headlining, but some of the featured acts will be Wanda Jackson, Eilen Jewell and Patty Larkin. A fun, cheap 2 day affair. Saw LW there 2 summers ago…
www.Greenriverfestival.combobParticipantI’m more into Hank III these days. (Threecephius?)
