The Keswick show was great on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Lu was in a fine spirit all night and really appreciated everyone who came out during the aftermath of an unexpected snowstorm in SE PA. Lucinda was so real, honest, focused and full of purpose throughout. The band was outstanding as always. Blake displayed some very sensitive and skilled guitar. David was subtle and steady all night long. And Butch again showed me the wonder of a great drummer; wow, does he work hard! bike50nowParticipantThanks, Tom, for the kind words. I just love Lucinda’s shows and her talent. Having an ocassional chance to photograph at the shows helps me enjoy them better and share them with others.

bike50nowParticipantHello Everyone:
First, I would like to thank Tom and Lucinda’s staff for granting me a “press pass” to take photos from my seat at the Wilmington show last week, September 30, 2009. This small gesture of sensitivity to Lucinda’s fans is one of the many things that make Lucinda a truly special and gifted musical artist.
The Wilmington show was wonderful. The Grand Opera House is a spectacular venue and was an intimate, 1100-seat setting to enjoy the concert. Buick 6 opened with a sharp and enthusiastic set. Then, Lucinda delivered a chronological and tight performance playing two or three songs for each of her nine studio releases. All in all, another wonderful night and show celebrating Lucinda’s 30 years as a recording artist. bike50nowParticipantMy 10 CDs arrived on October 22, 2007. What a wonderful touch to have two of them signed by Lucinda! It makes them even more special and personal. Now I need a road trip to listen to these landmark recordings. I, like many people, like listening to CDs in the car…it’s a concentrated and focused space to enjoy great music. Nevertheless, my plan is to listen to them in order to enjoy the progression and growth of the idea.
This was a great concept and idea to not only do the 5 shows on both coasts but to offer these CDs to record the many great moments. I caught the tour between the two 5 night shows at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA on September 26 and witnessed a great show. Thanks to everyone involved! 😀
Georgebike50nowParticipantHere is the link to the photos I took at the Keswick Theatre show on Wednesday, September 26, 2007. Again, a fantastic show. Lucinda was so enjoyable to see and hear that night. Days later, I’m still thinking about what a great night of music I witnessed. Lucinda has to be one of the hardest working musicians and bands in today’s music scene. Enjoy the photos:

bike50nowParticipantA great show by Lucinda. I, too, liked the early part of the show.
The pace of the show changed from the second duet with Charlie Louvin onward. The show became driven with high energy and lots of intensity. Lucinda gave the audience what they wanted…she read them well.
