I reviewed a show Lucinda did with the Buick 6 earlier today. I have not been on Lucinda’s site for awhile but noticed the photos on her home page. She looks to be having some sort of troubles? I know her boyfriend loves her–I saw them in June at the Indy show. Great couple…If they need my help (or I’m just overreacting), just get ahold of me through my site….www.thederelicks.com…Tim Considine

Overreacting is the right word Tim. 😯
We saw Lucinda and Tom this summer in Spain many times after the shows and we can smelled love always. 8)

    Dearest Lucinda,
I was at your show on 8/18/ 09 second row center…I came to see Elvis for the 8th time but I must tell you if it wasn’t for your set the show would have been the worst concert I had ever attended. Which was worse, it was a gift for my sons birthday.
You are absolutely brilliant, beautiful, and your music is timeless. I so enjoyed your set…I wish that you were the headliner! Your voice is amazing, your band outstanding. I’m not really sure where Elvis was going with his new celtic bluegrass….I was highly disappointed, but I must let you know the 9oo$ I spent on that concert was worth every penny just to be turned on to you.I met up with Butch when I left…..please give him a shout out from the tall Blonde with the muscian son…and a wink to Chet. I am sure he will remember me! Your set and muscianship of your band was truly mesmerizing! Chet blew my mind! Thank you for an outstanding experience……you are a Goddess!
    Light always, Lydia

We love knowing that there are new fans of Lucinda Williams in his land ❗ ❗ ❗

Yes, thanks for posting this link, bigsubi. What a beautiful venue. And, the video & audio seem to be top-notch – at least as far as can be determined from being streamed across the Web. I’ll add my vote for wishing to see this officially released on DVD…

    Tom

The theater was beautiful, but Lucinda was not very comfortable at first, even commenting that it seemed to be a “wolf’s mouth.” In fact I think it said Stoger.
If will not launch officially ends hanging over the Internet. Dimeadozen, eMule, or similar. I have the Rockpalast in KΓΆln, 2007, issued by the German WDR channel and another of the same year recorded in Switzerland. Two jewels both. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

I would add to the gratitude Stoger and poured on from here to wish you a happy trip back to USA.
A pleasure to know you and hope to see you again somewhere in the world with Lucinda and Tom in a bar and a glass of wine in hand.
    Hasta pronto amigo!!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Stoger you are right!!! I don’t remember exactly the words you used in Madrid to explain your adventure in Cartagena.
However, you can see that my english is still poor but I’m sure this forum taught me to cultivate it.

Well fellas, I believe my actual quote was “piercing my spine,” though bag/back works fine, think I had my backpack with me that evening (early morning) actually. A species of local flora was my leaning spot, and its bark did some minor damage to my dorsal side, but all is well a fortnight later. Thanks for the anatomical and linguistic concern you three!

Thanks anyway Tom!!! but it was “Iknowitsover” who ask about Eric Schermerhorn…I answer with your link about it…I remember too that you tell also that the another son from Eric called Django…

    Saludos desde Barcelona, Tom!!! πŸ˜€

    @TOverby wrote:

Bigsubi– Eric’s name is Schermerhorn, and you can click on Lefty’s wikipedia link to get all of his info. He has played with Iggy, David Bowie, The The as well as Seal and They Might Be Giants.
He has a son named Wolf, as in Howlin’ Wolf, which tells you a lot about his musical tastes. He has fit in great, Lu loves him and I think you’re just beginning to hear him put his own stamp on some of the songs, as witnessed by his great solo on Essence which someone called “arabesque”. He has a great stylistic range that will be great to hear emerge going forward.
