Eric & Chet have left the band. Val McCallum, Greg Leisz & Rami Jaffee play on the new album on guitar, rhythm guitar & keyboards / accordion, respectively. David Sutton on bass & Butch Norton on drums remain from Buick 6.

For the tour, I do believe Val is confirmed; I am not sure about Greg & Rami. Maybe TOverby can provide more info on this…

    What???…Eric and Chet out???…why???…

Lu’s merch lady extraordinaire, Susannah, debuted two new t-shirt designs at the first NYC show commemorating the 30th Anniversary Tour. I noticed that they are not as of yet listed in the “Store” at https://www.lucindawilliams.com, so I thought I’d post up what one of the two designs being offered looks like (I took these pictures to e-mail Friendly Forum member bigsubi in Spain so he would know what the shirts I picked up for him looked like).

    Here is the front:

    And, here is the back:

I have no more nail biting waiting for the t-shirts!!! 🙄

The folk art design on the front has been used before on an old gig poster. I have it in my collection (but mine is red. IIRC, there were also orange & blue ones printed).

The other design, if memory serves, is the same on back, with an early B&W photo of Lu on the front…

Thank you, stoger, for the setlist. You obviously awoke much earlier than either Tom Tracy or myself. Of course, I first needed to survive the Sunday crush for breakfast at Embassy Suites.

I can mention that Susannah had 2 new T-shirts for their first sales appearance last night. The shirts are black, with a photo or drawing of Lucinda, related to the early albums.

The venue was very crowded, but not sold-out, and there were signs offering to sell tickets at no extra fee for the next 2 nights. The audience seemed very mellow, except for one sad soul, who repeatedly shouted for “Blue”, obviously one night early.

It looks like a beautiful day to walk around Manhattan–so I’ll bid adiou for now. And, Dr. Stoger, I will not be searching the porno shops for the rip-off of “One Night Stand”.

I have ordered two t-shirts via TNT during today!!! By the way, it sounds cool searching porno shops in a touristic round around Manhattan! 😆
