Several years ago I heard an interview with Lucinda Williams on NPR- I think it was Scott Simon- Sat am. Since she’s from Louisiana (me too), I reminded myself to look her up. Probably two years later I heard another interview – something about Johnny Cash (I think) and I heard her name again. Finally I ordered Car Wheels, played it forever, and I was hooked. I absolutely adore her. And I love that she can describe life, love, loss and longings in Louisiana. Never seen her live 🙁 , but will be a fan forever.
