arm pitbull shit and davidinane you are judgemental XXXXXXX. Who the fuck are you to judge Lucinda ? Neither of you could carry her bra. If you don’t like the shows don’t go and keep your shitty attitudes to yourselves. Go post your worthless opinions on the “We Stand In Judgement of Others” website. I hope you filthy scumbags die.

So Lefty. Are you gonna delete my post just because I use hateful curse words ? Are you a censor or a moderator ?

Tom this is a great idea !

    1) Shows that would have a chronological setlist like the second set of the first show in Mpls or the show in Madison (1-10) 10

    2) Shows that would have split sets -with the first set being ballads etc, a break, and then the second set being rock (1-10) 8

    3) Similar to number 2– in larger cities where we could do it or where the right venue exists–doing two nights, with the first night being the ballads etc and the second night more rock (1-10) 6

    4) Closing the year with a return of the album shows -probably only in one city (1-10) 10 How about a midwestern city like Chicago ?

    5) Don’t change anything -I like the shows as they are. (1-10) 9 If nothing changes its still good.
In a different and more general category:
    1) To offset the venues that charge Ticketmaster fees -we are considering offering those fees back as a credit at the merch table -does this have appeal (1-10) 10 I really like this idea. I remember the times when we could go to concerts for under $10 dollars. I wonder if you and Lu feel the same way that I do about Ticketbastard. 8 dollar fee per ticket ?1? Grand larceny !

Speaking of extra large t-shirts (or XXXL, etc.), I’d buy one if they were available in the online store…

Fair enough Tim. I’ll see if I can confirm (through the benefit of leather lungs) this Friday. Either way, ‘Metal Firecracker’ is my favorite Lucinda tune. Don’t tell anybody the secrets I told you. Say, maybe I’ll hang out at her tour bus….

I seem to remember this question being asked long ago before the website changed a few years back. If I recall correctly it was the late SonO (RIP) who said that the ‘metal firecracker’ was a yellow ‘El Camino’ with red pin stripes. Lu and her beau at the time (I’m drawing a blank on that one) would cruise all over creation in it. Anybody else remember that ?

Sorry ya feel funky, ID2. I have the flu (if that’s any consolation). Lu’s music always makes me feel good. Hope you feel better, too.

I believe you are correct marclaff. I think that chord is ‘E’. I chaecked chordie.com but no “JOY” chords. They have other LW stuff though…

Just wasted that 2:30 and it was more than worth it. Nice work, Stan. Thanks for the compliment. We are practically neigbors, aren’t we? I have been to 3 out of the last five Chicago Blues festivals. Great times there. I just love Ronnie Baker Brooks. Gonna see him in Kalamazoo Feb 1st. You goin ? Ever get over to Detroit?

Stan I just listened to your song “This Is What Angels Must Sound Like.” and I love it ! It s mildly reminiscent of the Kinks to me in sound and spirit. Great job ! The lyrics made me chuckle. The other song wouldn’t play (don’t know why) so I listened to the original by Kaitlyn and it was nice. I’ve played “Blue” in public with a gal friend of mine. I have some songs on Myspace using a drum machine and done on an 8 track recorder so the quality (and musicianship and vocals for that matter) aren’t great but you’ll get the general idea if you care to listen…
