Here are my Top 5:
1 – Cold, Cold Heart – hands down the best cover of a Hank song…she makes one of his best songs her own.
2 – Nothin’
3 – Can’t Let Go
4 – Hard Time Killin’ Floor Blues
5 – Positively 4th StreetHard to beat 4th Street as a F@&k you song of choice when needed, and I love her version as much as Bob’s. I thought Lucinda’s writeup in RS about the tune was interesting. I had never thought about the song that specifically before. And I admit the idealist in me didn’t like reading that artist’s get jeolous of other’s breaking through…when you’re a fan and not in the business it just never occurs to you that would happen!
