Funny Tom, I was starting to wonder what Buick 6 might be up to.
Now I know what two of them are doing.
When? Lucinda hits the road again, Butch should bring along this very unique percussion set on stage (sans la toilette and cat food)
So I said I know two of them i.e. Butch and David have been busy it appears.
Here is a great live recording from Dec.5, 2009 with Keyrei singing “I’m Yours” from the Korean Cultural Centre in LA accompanied by Butch and David.
She has such a great voice, have a listen.

So what are the other two up to/ Eric and Chet?

Bought the same shirt last October in Toronto.
The video I posted above with Keyrei only showed Butch’s cowboy hat.
Here is another showing Butch dressed more formally ( wearing slacks, not shorts )
Unless you understand Korean, fast forward to 2:36 for the performance.

When I last saw Buick 6, September 2009, Butch was playing some kind of homemade drum that looked like it was the drum from the inside of a clothes dryer. He played that while Chet played the drums (the regular drum kit). It actually sounded cool as sh!t.

Bet you didn’t know that the entire Buick 6 band has really been up and running since 1927.
    Watch for fun.

Since TOverby had the audacity to post Butch’s “hub spring brake drum” instrument, I thought I would follow suit.
Here is Butch Norton’s “Guide to the Perfect Hot Dog”

Boy, it will be nice when Buick 6 gets back on the stage.

We have to get Butch and Buick 6 back on stage ASAP.
    Here’s more from the rocknrollcook.

This posting “finally” gets away from Butch the gourmet chef.
Hear is some real music with Butch and his long-time friend Peter Malick.
This relates to their upcoming 17 track release called “Duets From the Spin Cycle”.

OK, I know I am always late to the party, but I finally got around to watching “Guide to the Perfect Hot Dog” & “Peanut Butter Honey Toast”.

Seems Butch & I share gastronomic tendencies. In particular, regarding hot dogs. Hebrew National Kosher Beef dogs are the ONLY way to go (sorry all you Nathan’s fans, but it’s HN for me!).

P.S. What?!?! No cheddar cheese in all of bleep-ing Canada? For shame, LWJ, FOR SHAME! 😆

OK I strayed away from replying to Butch’s dilemna about having to put up with Muenster cheese on his gourmet hot dog.
But now I have to step in.
First of all the two videos ( hot doggity and peanut butter ) show Buick 6’s tour bus possibly parked on Victoria St. in Toronto. Pretty sure anyway because I attended Lu’s concert at Massey Hall on October 11, 2008 and recognize the neighborhood. But the video may have been shot elsewhere.
Second of all, Butch is moaning about the Venue not being able to get real Canadian sharp cheddar cheese.
I lay the blame totally on TOverby for not specifying this clearly in the Contract Rider.
Lu has attended many concerts at Massey Hall over the years and the Venue should be aware that there is the St. Lawrence Market perhaps two blocks from the Venue with an outstanding collection of fine cheeses and gourmet hot dogs available.
Like this Black Diamond speciality cheese.

    Made from unpasteurized cow’s milk.

Robert F. Hart began making this fine Canadian cheddar in 1933. Today, Black Diamond is probably Canada’s most well-known cheddar. The “”Grand Reserve”” signifies that this cheddar is aged a minimum of two years. Made from raw milk, this white cheddar encased in black wax has a sharp, robust, tangy flavor.[attachment=0:5kgb0zys]blackdiamond cheese.jpg[/attachment:5kgb0zys]
