Yeah, I’ve been Googling on “Lucinda Williams Wedding Minneapolis” a couple of times a day since the first article appeared the morning of the 8th in the Minneapolis Star Tribune. It has been fun watching the news spread across the Web. It has even been picked up by Business Week as news related to Best Buy (BBY) stock, more than likely due to the mention of Tom’s having worked for the company in the article! 😆

Okay…I’m seriously thinking about making the trip up to Minneapolis. It would be kind of crazy, but then again, how often does something like this come up?

I forwarded info to my favorite afternoon music host at WNKU…to give him some talking points if and when he spins Lu.
Just talked to the fiancee (who becomes the wife exactly one month from today 🙂 ) and she’s surprisingly amenable to the idea and might want to come along even. Hmm…

Okay, you all twisted my arm…I’m in. 🙂 Not sure exactly when I’ll be hitting town, but I look forward to meeting people and putting faces to forum names. I’ve met a ton of people following Dylan, but haven’t really gotten to know any Lu fans and it’s time to change that!
Just wondering who Inside Job and Lu have invited to attend this memorable event on stage in Mpls.
Perhaps their special guests may include Gurf M., Charlie L., and of course, Doug P.
A big drum roll from Butch should start off the ceremony which, hopefully will be on a webcast courtesy of webMASTA.
Lu has always been full of surprises, so who knows who will attend.
