It was great! Lucinda was at her best, played all the great songs en obviously enjoyed herself very much on stage. This was the best gig I have seen from her so far. 😀
July 11, 2009 at 8:46 am #40114scdegraafParticipantI absolutely agree. Of all the times I have seen Lucinda this was her best show. She loved the venue (“this is rock ‘n’ roll) and the enthusiastic audience. The venue was not completely sold out, but near enough.
They wanted to rock and that’s what they did. It showed she felt at ease: not one false start, hardly any peeps into the songbook, dancing on stage, lots of fun beteen the band members. Her new guitar player Eric Schermerhorn didn’t dissapoint, he has a good sound and without Doug Pettibone Chet Lyster played a more prominent role.
Setlist:
I Just Wanted To See You So Bad
Can’t Let Go
Well Well Well
I Lost It
Concrete And Barbed Wire
Tears Of Joy
Passionate Kisses (solo)
Blue
Fruits Of My Labor
Drunken Angel
Pineola
Little Rock Star
Out Of Touch
Changed The Locks
Come On
Real Life Bleeding Fingers And Broken Guitar Strings
Essence
Honey Bee
Joy
Righteously
Encore:
Angel (dedicated to Michael Jackson)
Marching The Hate Machines Into The Sun
It’s A long Way To The Top If You Want To Rock ‘n’ Roll (long version)Then for those interested: what did she wear?
A pair of jeans, cowboy boots (snake print?), a black T-shirt with a golden T-Rex print, large buckle belt. Her hair was different, brown tossled hair with many highlights.Great show, I’m still rocking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You two sound like bona fide cheerleaders – – glad you enjoyed the show!
Always brings a smile to my face when I see that Wellx3 has been played. 😀July 11, 2009 at 6:57 pm #40116stogerParticipantLefty, that “bona fide cheerleaders” phrasing is loaded for Forum readers: rah rah to you for using it.
Sylvia, Thanks for such complete setlisting. I responded to you in the merch stream too.
Countdown. . .

Chances are very good, Debs – she has been playing “Passionate Kisses” a lot these days and, going to two shows, I’d say you are in for a treat!

OK, I can do that. What bitrate would you like it in? (If you don’t know / care, I’d recommend 256 kbps – I personally wouldn’t want to listen to it at any lower quality than that). I captured the audio from the YouTube clip on my Mac at 16-bit, CD quality & I can encode it at whatever bit rate you want…
PM me your e-mail address & I’ll send it to you.
