Us Blue Note attendees should get together for a beer either before or after.
Before works for me. But plenty early enough – I plan on being at or near the front of the line for doors… 😉
Should be plenty of bars in the area, since the Blue Note is 3 blocks north of the edge of the Mizzou campus. Unless, that is, college students don’t drink beer like they did back in my day… 😆

Wednesday June 17, 8:00 PM, Kansas City, MO, Harrah’s Kansas City

Does this mean you will be extending your “School’s Out” vacation tour???

Well, despite how much I hate casinos (I’ve never been one for all the flashing lights and the glitz, plus I don’t gamble), at only 2 hours drive farther West, it would be hard not to do so. We’ll see… 😉

April 16, 2009 at 3:33 am #39207LafayetteParticipantThe power of cyberspace.
It’s only one ticket (or maybe two), however, I do feel great about turning a fan onto Lu’s show in Phoenix. I was over on Lu’s facebook page and noticed someone posted he wished she would come to Phoenix. That show had already been announced on the website, so I shot this person a message and told him LU was doing a show in Phoenix, gave him the 411 on the venue, even the link for him to order tickets. He just posted tonight on my page thanking me as he scored 12th row center seats and is thrilled!
Life is good.

May 3, 2009 at 8:14 pm #39177stogerParticipantWell, Oklahoma City is on sale–though not by any of the obvious links. Try http://www.protix.com Forget about either of the two links on the High Road touring page–or what they lead to, tickets.com and get tix. Go straight to the “pro”s, no passing of go, no collecting of two hundred bucks. And yes, it’s a GA show, with a numerical tally but not seat numbers.
Yours as the proud 293rd purchaser of Okie floor space. . .
May 3, 2009 at 11:15 pm #39178parkercaParticipanti’ve gotta get mine soon.
May 4, 2009 at 1:32 am #39179spotter74ParticipantI enjoyed seeing Lucinda so much in Rochester that I’m taking my mom to Phoenix for a long weekend to see her again! Any ticket purchase suggestions?

You’re in luck – the Mesa Arts Center is selling tickets directly instead of letting the evil TicketMaster sell them, so the fees are sure to be lower. Here is a link.
