As I’m sure many of you already know, Lucinda’s father Miller wrote Bill Clinton’s inauguration poem in 1997. There is a great story in today’s NY Times about the past inaugural poets, as well as the woman is who is writing this year’s poem. Miller was much praised in the article (and Lucinda mentioned also) and Lucinda was very thrilled to see him get some long overdue recognition. Here is the link if anyone is interested:
