A standard $15 Ticket Service Fee will apply to each ticket.
+ a standard parking service fee of $20. or $15.(carpool) to park in a remote field applies as stoger reported.
This will bring the “cheapies” price up to $70, which amounts to a hefty 100% mark-up of $35. on a $35. base ticket price.
Makes Ticketmaster looking like a bargain.
+, Heaven forbid, they cut off the power during Lu’s encore on the strictly imposed 10:30 p.m. curfew.
Agreed – seems high to me as well given past history. Hopefully, this is simply a “one off” due to the “uniqueness” of the venue as opposed to a trend. Time will tell…
Not to dispute that the Mountain Winery is an expensive venue, but have you examined the prices for Neil Young performing solo? for example, Austin: $59.50, $99.50, $199.50, $249.50; Atlanta: $90.45, $112.05, $145.15, $250.65. Perhaps, the recession is over…for concert promoters…
Yes, Paul, I’ve examined them from a Southern/Eastern perspective too–and three-figure prices reign for both Nashville Ryman and Atlanta Fox. Not even the prospect of encountering former Lu audio whiz Mark Humphries around Neil’s sound board will be enough to get me out for Mr. Young solo acoustic, I’m afraid. As for Winery and No Depression fest, yessir.
