She was indeed. Apparently she sings on 2 songs on the new CD.
That was Charlie Sexton. Rolling Stone reports the guitarist for the previous 27 shows of the tour, Duke Robillard, departed after the June 30 show and last night was Charlie’s first. According to RS:
“It’s unclear why Robillard is off the tour, but late last month he posted this cryptic message on Facebook: “For sale: Bob Dylan CD and record collection, slightly used.” He later wrote, “I will be selling a lot of guitars and amps soon. I’ll keep you posted.”
The last time I saw Bob was at the Palladium a few years ago and Charlie had also suddenly just replaced the guitarist. Apparently if you are a guitarist in a band and you see Charlie Sexton coming, best to pick up your things and go. 8)
