A friend of mine introduced me to “The Believers,” a couple that have been together for 8 years or so. Collectively described by one as “What Johnny Cash and The Tennessee Three might’ve sounded like if they’d jammed with The White Stripes.”
In prior years, they have opened for Jim Lauderdale. In a conversation with Craig Aspen, along with his significant other, Cyd, the other day, he told me he cites Lucinda as one of his influences. His eyes just lit up when I told him I was a fan.
