*retitled new version of “He Never Got Enough Love”. Lu said when she cut it Bob Dylan had a song with a similar title (guess she’s referring to “Ninety Miles An Hour Down A Dead End Street” from the “Down In The Groove” album–actually a cover, not a BD penned song, ) so she didn’t want to compete with him but now she’s taking it back for the new 25th anniversary recording of Sweet Old World which she said will be released in August.
Fantastic show, great sound in row 4 1st 2 seats in left orchestra. Lu was in great spirits and voice throughout. Said (twice?) how it was such a treat to play in such a nice sounding venue. PLU was played at a slow pace, really focusing on the words…..didn’t know that was something she was doing.
