HI, are there any plans to issue “Sweet Old World” and “Essence” on vinyl? I would love to have these two wonderful albums spinning on my turntable. Thanks.
We’ve been ‘promised’ this for years but alas, we may not live long enough to see it happen. Maybe Music On Vinyl will press them, as they did with the excellent Car Wheels.
It’s being worked on but it takes time to get the licenses etc.when you’re dealing with big companies.
I always welcome any Lucinda Williams vinyl….
With respect to Car Wheels- and I know this was done without consultation with artist- the reissue while sounding good is just not the caliber such a great album deserved.. At the very least a thick cardboard gatefold and not a flimsy cover (mine got bent on the way to me via amazon) with a one page insert!
