Well I think it I can finally say with reasonable certainty that we will finally be reissuing the S/T album or as Lucinda has come to call it, the Rough Trade album. We are shooting for an August release and I believe there will be some other announcements around this, but can’t really say anymore than that right now.
The fact that we found that original master recordings has allowed for a real updating of the recording and when you play it side by side with the older versions the difference is simply stunning. It sounds incredibly fresh and really reminds you how much sound quality matters–something that seems to have somewhat disappeared in the IPod era.@TOverby wrote:

Hey Mr Overby, is August still looking good for the release?
lwji’m curious if the 3rd-disc-as-a-dvd is still going to happen. that’d be terrific. and the 2nd featuring that norwegian radio show.
am i imagining things? i think i read something like this months ago.

Not imagining things at all punchdrunklove.
It’s actually a Dutch radio show that is supposed to be disc #2

This is from KRO Radio 2 “Legendarisch Live”. A broadcast on April 28, 2006 of the Eindhoven concert May 19, 1989.
Here is what you do to listen.
In Dutch “Klik hier om Let concert terug te listen”.
Once you click or “Klik’-It goes to Real Player. The opening out of 59:00 minutes is spoken in Dutch. Lucinda is announced at 3:20 and the music begins at 4:10 This was a public radio broadcast and it is awesome. Looking forward to our new 3 disc UPDATE.

lwjI know a couple of you have been asking whether the RT album is still coming in August and unfortunately the answer is no it will not be coming in August. It may still come out this year but the relatively fast completion of the new record has caused me to put the RT on hold until the new record is officially scheduled for release.
