I’m sorry about LA too, Tony. I fear a slippery slope–and I don’t expect any authoritative information to the contrary. Mike, you are an optimist with those purchases. I’m probably going to check individual venue websites for all the summer shows which have been frozen under “Tour Dates” on this website for months, with no modifications or additions. Of course, openers can be purged at the drop of a hat; even if some/most of the Isbell shows go on, support acts can be plugged in and out easily.
Where did you see the Brighton and Cambridge listings, Tony and Dr.? It seems daft that Lucinda would make her return to the stage in England as the headliner, though I’d love to see you European fans satisfied.
I think none of us should get too pumped up, in the absence again of info to the contrary.

May 15, 2021 at 8:00 pm #82255SamishMikeParticipantAgree Roger..about being perhaps overly optimistic, as well as not getting too pumped up advice.
Some of the tix, I bought last year.. the Vancouver and Seattle shows. Could have had them refunded, but chose to ride it out.
Realize the show(s) could go on without Lu, as well as there being a decent chance of more cancellations. I have had done fairly well in terms of getting refunds of other cancelled shows and am not too concerned, especially as they are all single ticket purchases. I also figure that as hot as live music, (if it happens), will be, the Isbell tix should hopefully be an easy resell.Red Rocks ticket was my biggest concern as they are currently limiting crowd size (2500?) and those with existing tix will have priority, as well as wanting to get down close to the stage as those tix go very quickly. The Warwick in San Francisco tickets were a concern for the same reasons essentially. That and those tix are general admission standing in front of the stage.. my favorite!
Signed,
Optimistic (near) Seattle. 😉May 16, 2021 at 8:13 am #82256dr winston oboogieParticipantThree UK dates in August 2021 shown here…

Dublin and Copenhagen shows up here also…

As long as I am here…is there any update on how Lucinda is doing health wise, better I hope, but all seems very quiet on that front.
May 18, 2021 at 5:11 pm #82258stogerParticipantMore gloom news: on the Ticketmaster website, only Vancouver is listed with both Isbell and Williams’ names, though most (not all) of the summer Isbells are listed.
On Poll Star, only Vancouver and Seattle are listed at all from that run.
Santa Barbara has joined LA and San Diego as cancelled.
I haven’t checked individual venue websites, but this is trending in all the wrong directions.
May 19, 2021 at 2:44 pm #82259tonygKeymasterThanks Stoger. Maybe this isn’t the year live music comes back.
May 21, 2021 at 10:03 pm #82261SamishMikeParticipantIsbell seems to be keeping his site fairly current, and he still lists all the Lu shows while making note of the cancelations.
Checked the venue sites for the shows I’m hoping for- Orpheum (Van) *closed until further notice-* (tickets still avail),
Paramount (SEA) still has it still listed, tix available as does The Warfield (SF).
Red Rocks just announced full capacity shows will resume June 21 (!!)
*perhaps mentioned earlier, but Tedeschi Trucks Band is playing their usual two night stand just prior to Isbell/Lu’s.
They will be doing scaled down (from their usual 15 piece band) shows. Shows tba soon.Live shows will go on, hopefully with Lu, would love an update from her soon.
May 22, 2021 at 6:16 pm #82262stogerParticipantAmen, Mike–and thanks for your own recent research.
May 26, 2021 at 6:17 pm #82286SamishMikeParticipantIt appears Austin is still on the schedule (Isbell’s and the venue’s, cause no timely updates for Lu’s ;0 ) for Aug. 7th & 8th??
Two indoor shows, if they are still a go.
I would consider now a trip to Austin, but tickets aren’t coming up or showing sold out.
Anyone planning on these??May 27, 2021 at 12:05 am #82290stogerParticipantI was planning on it, Mike. But Moody T is indoors, as you say. I can’t imagine these will happen, given the pattern.
Reno is gone too, eh? Seems like Kansas is purged also, though Little Rock is still on Isbell’s website. Those are getting a bit out of your territory, I realize.
Hoping for the best. . .
June 1, 2021 at 4:01 pm #82302SamishMikeParticipantThird show announced today for Austin.
Have to juggle some dog sitting days (wife and daughter out of town), but well worth the kennel price if I can hit three shows on one trip!
June 1, 2021 at 6:58 pm #82304stogerParticipantI’m willing to make a modest contribution to the bow-wow fund for this trifecta in TX to happen, Mike.
