ParticipantI couldn’t click on my own typed URL, but maybe someone can figure it out. Lu live in Key West late April, headlining a fest.

ParticipantSo be it: this retired English prof. yields to a retired engineer in the matter of numbers taking precedence over letters.

KeymasterGood work fellas. Exciting lineup. Any guess on the death toll from a visit to Florida in April?

ParticipantGreat to see she’s got something on the books!!
Wont be making this… but hoping more will follow before the Isbell run.February 17, 2021 at 3:26 pm #82148tonyg

ParticipantIt is now off the books. The festival goes on, with a curt announcement that she is ill and won’t be performing.

ParticipantSeeing adverts for ticket sales for Lucinda in Brighton UK in August, is this still on and will there be more UK dates at that time ?
May 14, 2021 at 3:52 pm #82247stoger
ParticipantBrighton? Brighton? As in Graham Greene’s Brighton Beach? Doctor, we seek confirmation of North American dates first and foremost this end, but with the final dates of the (projected) Isbell tour stretching into August, it’s hard to think your side will see Lucinda 2021. But no one I know knows anything, or says anything. One can hope.

KeymasterI see it as August 17, 2021, a rescheduling of the August18, 2020 show. Also August 19 in Cambridge. Her last date on the Jason Isbell tour is August 8 in Austin. Have fun Dr. O’Boogie!

KeymasterShortly after typing the above I got an email telling me the Jason Isbell show at the Greek Theatre has been cancelled.

ParticipantSorry to hear about the Greek Theatre show getting cancelled Tony.
Wasn’t going to make it that far south for this, but I hope this isn’t the beginning of cancellations…
Just checked Isbell’s site and see the San Diego show is also cancelled. It was recently updated with this info so I’m assuming the tour hasn’t been shelved. Also noticed that the Greek Theatre shows were mostly all cancelled prior to Aug 1st. Perhaps a Southern Cal or LA issue related to Covid restrictions??Have tix in hand for the two San Francisco shows, Seattle, Red Rocks and Vancouver. (tix still avail for all)
Thinking seriously about the Montana festival as well. Doubtful that even if the Vancouver show is a go, that the border will be opened back up to non-essential travel by that time, so an all Canadian audience, or a cancellation perhaps for that.May 15, 2021 at 3:24 pm #82252tonyg
KeymasterL.A. is almost wide open and I would have thought we would be at 100% by the end of July.

ParticipantI’m sorry about LA too, Tony. I fear a slippery slope–and I don’t expect any authoritative information to the contrary. Mike, you are an optimist with those purchases. I’m probably going to check individual venue websites for all the summer shows which have been frozen under “Tour Dates” on this website for months, with no modifications or additions. Of course, openers can be purged at the drop of a hat; even if some/most of the Isbell shows go on, support acts can be plugged in and out easily.
Where did you see the Brighton and Cambridge listings, Tony and Dr.? It seems daft that Lucinda would make her return to the stage in England as the headliner, though I’d love to see you European fans satisfied.
I think none of us should get too pumped up, in the absence again of info to the contrary.
