    I think “Ugly Truth” and “Convince Me” are my two favorites from the album. Great songs.

    YES! mine too 😛 Although, and unfortunately, Copenhagen is climbing on my charts due to an unexpected death of a friend 😥

    Hello! Well I’m new here. 18 years old, but a Lucinda fan. She’s my favorite songwriter, she certainly has the gift or writing beautifully and truthfully.

    My favorite song from Blessed is Ugly Truth. That song is so ”true”. The lyrics are pure genius.

    kiss like your kiss is my new favorite. my heart is generous when it comes to this album and it decided to consider blessed & sweet love as top-tiers as well.

    but kiss like your kiss. . . that’s the stand-out. by the way, KLYK & SL are 2 of the most underplayed songs from the album on concerts. how come???

    I agree with you punchdrunklove, I think “Kiss Like Your Kiss” & “Sweet Love” are great songs. “Kiss” being one of Lucinda’s greatest vocal efforts ever!

    I was lucky enough to see the New Year’s Eve show at the Viper Room. She did “Kiss Like Your Kiss” later in the show and it sent chills up my spine. She started it playing her acoustic, but after singing the first verse, she took it off and really concentrated on singing!

    Copenhagen was the first one to hit me……haunting beat….

    I also love Seeing Black……lyrically, with the reference to the “white light” (at least that is how I interpreted it)…through the phases of black (the end) to red (blood?) to white (toward eternity)….

    But when I heard Convince Me live….I LOVED it!

    Then again….I love Lu and her lyrical genius……

    the thing i really like about SB is “did you wax the deck to make it easier to slip”. maybe the single best lyric in the whole album for me.
