Hi all!
Happy Holidays and all that. Things have been slow around here, so I thought I would share that I chatted with Tom briefly on the old Instagram and he said that he is currently routing shows for 2023 and is hoping to be in the North East/New England area in April 2023 probably after the Australia dates. He assured Lu will be busy next year between getting the book, new album out, and still doing plenty of shows.
“. . . all that” indeed. “Slow” undersells the cricket-chirping here, but this post is encouraging; I mean, I couldn’t speak to the distinction between “old” and “new” Instagram, but good to hear Tom is conversant. A busy year–and that festival in Spain in the summertime suggests a second tour of 2023 on that continent. And it sounds like good old Connecticut will get its make-up come the spring. Will Mr. Malin get one song and one song only there, reckon? Bring it on.
Heard from a friend (via the venue’s member email announcements) that Lu will be playing The Cabot Theater in Beverly, MA on April 28th.
Not listed on their website yet, but likely will be soon.Hoping for some accompanying dates also to be announced soon!
Well that would be the BEST news EVER considering I live about 15 minutes from there! She could hit Portsmouth Music Hall and Hampton Beach Casino too while in the area, I’d go to all three 😉
