Because of the response to the late release of the Real Love single in the UK, I Live My Life has been added as a bonus track to the UK single release which should be any day now.
There will again be bonus tracks from the same Radio Recorder sessions that provided the extra tracks that came in the different versions of West. I believe only two separate retailers will have extra tracks. I know the question was asked somewhere else in this forum, but the reason it is done that way is not because of trying to make fans by multiple copies, it is done that way because each retailer wants their own exclusive bonus tracks different from what the competition is getting. In all I believe there will be a total of 6 extra tracks and one retailer will have 5 of them.
And, yes the UK and Canada version are simeaultaneous releases although I believe in the UK it will actually be released on Mon. the 13th because the UK releases records on Mondays while in the US records are released on Tuesdays.
And last but not least thanks to who ever posted here about the UK pricing -it was looked into and found to be a mistake and was not supposed to be priced that high. It has since been corrected.
Can you give us a breakdown of the bonus tracks and where they can be purchased?
Thus far I’m aware of the free “Bone of Contention” track when you pre-order from Amazon.

Will one of the discs be offered through independents?
It would be nice to know ahead of time rather than finding out what stores have the bonus discs from flyers the Sunday before release date. Then I usually have to find out what tracks are offered from another source, sometimes just from driving to the store.

I completely agree. There’s nothing worse than driving back and forth from different retailers playing a guessing game about which has the superior version of the album.
By the way, if anyone could upload a link to the demo of ‘Words’ from iTunes and send it to me I would be MOST appreciate. I have wanted this for over a year, and have bought the album 3x, but as a rule I don’t buy digital albums unless there’s a damn good reason – 9.99 for 1 song is not a fair enough reason. That said, that particular song is one of my favorites.
The only demos I have from ‘West’ are ‘Unsuffer Me’ and ‘Everything Has Changed,’ although I believe there is one of ‘Rescue’ out there, or am I wrong?

bestbuy.com is stating that while supplies last you can get 5 digital downloads of demo recordings of jailhouse tears 2, rarity, circles & x’s, knowing, and if wishes were horses. it does not say if it is online only or if it good for in stores too.

I would much rather have them on a bonus disc instead of MP3’s. I know that demos will probably not have high quality audio, but I would still prefer something better than MP3 quality.

Yes, a demo of “Rescue” is on one of the bonus discs.

Well, that’ll in large part depend on the bit rate of the MP3s. Granted, no MP3 will be as high quality as the original uncompressed WAV (or AIFF) file, but 256 kbps will be much, much closer than 128 kbps.
If anyone knows what the bit rate of this Best Buy tracks will be, please let us know. I will not pay for anything less than 256 kbps…

The five bonus digital tracks that are listed on the Best Buy site will be available whether the cd is purchased online or instore -but they are still digital -not a bonus cd. I am told they will be at least 256 kbps and possibly 320.
The other track -the original version of Real Love is the bonus track at Itunes. Other than the Bone Of Contention preorder bonus track at Amazon -that is the only two places that bonus tracks will be available.@Inside Job wrote:
