I thought I’d start a new thread asking everyone to post up which Blessed Deluxe Edition cover they received. I already have my first copy (it came while I was in Ohio, and was my Lost Highway Street Team “reward” for the “orders” I completed promoting Blessed on Facebook). It is this one:

I get my second copy (the one I pre-ordered from Amazon.com) tomorrow, and I hope it has a different cover! 😉

Waiting for me at home was my Blesssed LP (Dolly cover) from doing the Lost Highway Street Team work!
AND, I also received a surprise package from a Pretenders friend, who sent me a laminated poster of Lu about the Time magazine “America’s Best Songwriter”. ‘Wasting few words and sparing no pain, she has composed an extraordinary songbook about the rituals of loving, losing and keeping the faith.’
I am very Blessed. 🙂
it will take months for the package (i ordered the deluxe cd) to arrive here. i also got essence elsewhere, finally.
i should’ve subscribed to this lost highway thing. i think i did my share of contributing to promote blessed. i even did a countdown to 50 days for the album since january 1st. (that counts – and not only literally – right?)
with the cheap shipping it does! 2 months, but as far as i’m concerned you can make it 3 or 4 or even 5 if brazilian customs decided to make your life miserable.
Got my second copy of the deluxe edition of Blessed today from Amazon.com. Here is the front cover:
The back cover was the same as my first copy, so apparently it does not vary like the front cover does…

I got the one with the couple kissing. It reminded most of home (Chicago), as it looks like a little shop I walk past all the time.

Sorry to hear that Lafayette. I pre-order from Amazon a lot, and they almost always arrive on release day. But then again, I am an Amazon Prime member, and get the free 2 day shipping with either UPS or FedEx, which is pretty reliable. Did you sign-in to your Amazon account to get the tracking number so you can find out where it is?
When you get it, please be sure to post up a picture of the cover – I am curious to see all 8 versions. There are 11 other “Blessed” sign photos inside in the liner notes booklet, but I have not seen any of those on the cover of any edition yet, so I am thinking there are still other deluxe edition cover shots remaining to be “discovered”…

My delivery date, per your advice to log in and check my account 😳 , has my EDD (estimated delivery date) as March 3, 2011.
I’ll take a photo and post, unless, of course, I receive the same as others…

A dignified Native American (who looks a little like Will Sampson) is looking me straight in the eye from the cover of my deluxe. A nicely drawn feather contains the word “Blessed” on his sign. 8)

The Native American (who doesn’t mind being called an Indian 😮 , according to his testimonial,) the children playing, and the couple kissing ranks as my top favorites, for now.
