Lu is joining a who’s who in this tribute to Merle Haggard on April 6 in Nashville. I was so excited when I saw Mr. Mellencamp was on the bill as well…until I saw the ticket prices. The event is going to be recorded and released, so I think I’ll wait for the release. It will be a spectacular night, I’m sure.

April 9, 2017 at 3:44 pm #55657foolishnessParticipantWould have loved to have been there, thanks for the reports.
I know Lu and Keith have crossed paths, both here and at the Return to Sin City shows in 2004. (Any others?)
Unfortunately they haven’t done a duet at any of these gigs. Does anyone know if they have had any interactions?
I think they would be such a natural and beautiful musical partnership. -
