We will also be doing a show on 9/26 on the Santa Monica Pierat the ocean here in LA. THe fall tour will probably kick off a week or so after that.
Needless to say there are lots of things happening.

Thanks for the update, TO! We miss you not checking in as much. You’re a busy man, I know, and that’s a good thing for the fans.
Things are coming together great so I’m hoping to be able to be in here a little more when we are on the road.

XRT is broadcasting Jeff Tweedy’s Taste of Chicago set on Saturday. Not sure if Lucinda will be broadcast too. Hope so.

Yes, I was planning a trip to Lu’s show at the Taste of Chicago to coincide with a work trip (love it when that happens!), but I decided to head to Nashville for a show at the Bluebird Cafe this Thurs instead (also a work trip!) and had to scrap the Chicago trip. And I am taking my 11-year-old son to the American Idol live show this Sun night in Durham (god help me) and can’t swing Sat night in Chicago. I’m sure I will need a Lu show to detox from the American Idol experience, but Skynyrd next week in Raleigh will have to suffice. I will wear my KBB tee shirt to the Skynyrd show. This is too long of a response, but the moral is that there are so many shows, too little time 🙂 Viv
I would have considered it, especially since my brother lives in the Windy City, however, slap my hand, I’m headed south to Somerset, KY to see Stoll Vaughan at the Master Musician’s Festival. I haven’t seen him for a year and half.
So, I know Paul has made a trip or two to (one) of the cities by the lake…
omg… I hope the FF is updated in case Lu and Doug play in Chicago, or will he join her for the Taste of Chicago show? I think Stuart is back touring with the Wallflowers now… but not to worry, he said he’ll be back with Lu for the fall shows (unless I hallucinated that comment).

(Lucinda mgmt) Just called Buddy Guy’s club – the girl I talked to didn’t want to put much effort in getting ahold of mgmt and I also got the feeling she might not have known who Lucinda was. Kind of reminded me of the story about Charlie Watts not being able to get into the Cabooze in Mpls where the Stones were doing a secret show. Oh well.Reply From FB:
