I was listening to a WNKU feature a few weeks ago, ‘Wednesday Premieres,’ and a few of the tracks from Jamey’s Hank Cochran tribute album were featured. I missed, however, it was nominated for a Grammy. To the contrary, I did not miss Lillie Mae’s front and off center, on my screen performance with Jack Black. She has such an interesting back story and quite the accomplished fiddle player at the tender age of 21.

I think the issue is that the duo set lists typically focused on songs Lu normally plays guitar on with the band. The one time I heard “2 Kool” on the last tour, Doug was flustered and Lu uncomfortable after she put the guitar down. But perhaps others can add technical info. At any rate, no more versions for our (is he Japanese?) 2 Kool fan to log.
