Sera Cahoone, who opened for Lucinda in Portland, has started a tour of solo performances; the show highlights Sera and two male singer-songwriters, with each of the 3 performers doing solo sets.
In Portland, Sera performed with her full band, including steel guitar and banjo–those sounds are missing from her solo evenings.
I saw the opening show in San Diego last week, and Sera was excellent, with her guitar and harmonica, covering most of the songs on her latest album. She played for about 45 minutes.

Note for our moderator, that Sera’s tour is playing Eddie’s Attic, near Atlanta, this Wednesday night, Sept. 15.
