Center. You forgot “center.” 😀

To answer some questions from above –Philly is at the Keswick in Glenside.
Not doing the Blue Door. The first show is Tulsa.@Tom – Thanks for the Blue Door info. Don’t forget about us. We’d love to see you again in OKC … on the brighter side, we’ll see you at The Cain’s 😀 It looks like I am bringing two-three Lu virgins plus a couple non-virgins.

I am afraid I cannot, Roger. Quite impressive, Lafayette! The best I could do was 2nd row of the balcony.

Wow. Interesting. I was online and processed as soon as the link went live not realizing how lucky I was to grab these seats.
August 13, 2013 at 11:03 pm #52054mshedgParticipantThe tickets went on sale at 10:00 a.m. Friday. I was in a technologically-challenged area and was unable to purchase tickets until Saturday night. The venue only holds 979. I will need to plan better next time. Looking forward to seeing the traveling professor and, hopefully, meeting Lafayette…iconic figures of this forum.
August 16, 2013 at 5:40 pm #52055spinynParticipantWhen I got my tickets at Tipitana’s, they said the first night is a celebration of the Rough Trade record and the second honors Lucinda’s induction into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame (or somesuch). Her shows in NOLA are always special…

Oh my: “special” in tomo’s earlier post understates the magnitude of this. Still, I am unable to do both nights, but I hope others here will be able to. Whew hoo!!!
August 17, 2013 at 12:14 am #52057paul_from_losangelesParticipantPerhaps TOverby might comment: If the Sept. 16 show is devoted to an LMHOF induction, would Lucinda still perform the entire Rough Trade album? Hopefully, The Night’s Too Long to limit both activities from co-existing.
August 17, 2013 at 3:10 am #52058TOverbyParticipantGood question Paul -no, the second night will not be a Rough Trade night -it will be a separate little celebration of it’s own.
August 17, 2013 at 5:27 pm #52059mshedgParticipantIs Ellnora a solo appearance?
August 17, 2013 at 7:37 pm #52060TOverbyParticipantNo, Ellnora is not solo. All of the Sept shows are with the band.
August 18, 2013 at 4:30 am #52061mshedgParticipantThank you, Tom.
August 23, 2013 at 1:08 am #52062TOverbyParticipantYou heard it here first -actually a few days ago -but I will confirm it here first with press release in the next couple of days. As part of the 9/16 show at Tipitina’s in N.O. Lucinda will be inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame.
That is going to be a fun night. In other news it looks like we will be adding a 2nd show in Saxapahaw NC as the first one sold out in the blink of an eye. It also looks like the 9/22 show is looking very positive but I will know more tomorrow.
August 23, 2013 at 1:31 am #52063lkaufmanParticipantif it happens, will the 9/22 show be north of Philly Tom? Thanks, Lee. Great news re the LHOF. Hearty congrats! Come celebrate with a gig in NYC!
August 23, 2013 at 1:48 am #52064LafayetteParticipantAmazing news Lu will be inducted in Louisiana Music HOF. What an honor!
