ParticipantShe did play “I Just Wanted To See You So Bad” & “Crescent City” on the Webcast.
And, she has played others (like “Side of the Road” & “Changed the Locks”, e.g. – the latter a lot), not to mention (OK, I mentioned it 😉 ), it was one of the five albums played in LA & NY last year. So, other than it being currently out of print, I do not think there is any other problem with the rights, etc., or am I missing something?

ParticipantTom,
I know she played “I Just Wanted To See You So Bad” & “Crescent City”, but she did not credit them to the S/T album during the webcast. She credited them to a B/T or some other album or studio I didn’t recognize.
Tom, the fact that this awesome album is out of print means we are missing something.

ParticipantI think she usually credits these songs as songs on the “rough trade” album. This is the label the S/T album is on.
As far as I know and what Inside Job has said, it is going to be re-released early next year.October 28, 2008 at 8:02 pm #37973Inside Job
ParticipantYes -Lucinda owns the S/T album outright. She often refers to this album as the Rough Trade album because that is the first label it was on. No issues with Koch -it was only licensed to them but that license expired about 3 yrs ago.
The plan is still to re-release a 20th anniversary deluxe version early next year.October 28, 2008 at 11:02 pm #37974stevarino
ParticipantCool, That’s always my first recommendation to first time listeners, but since its out of print…… Second recommendation is Car Wheels. I’ve obviously got the Kock version, and didn’t realize it was originally on the Rough Trade Label. Thanks for the explanation. I still think she skipped over some really good material on this album.

ParticipantIf anyone here still has a turntable you can still get sealed copies of the original LP release from this source. http://lpnow.stores.yahoo.net/th4862.html. They also have the Passionate Kisses Ep in stock. I’m in no way affilated with them but did order a few copies for myself a year or so ago.

ParticipantAnd, for those still needing a copy, the Koch CD release also shows up fairly regularly on eBay, usually for a reasonable price…

Participantjanks,
Thanks for the link, I ordered the Rought Trade LP over the weekend. I think its going to replace my Led Zeppelin framed In Through the Out Door album in my media room. I’ll take it to the next LW concert I attend with the hopes of getting it signed. What a nice trophy that would be along with a with a photo inset of her signing it. ha ha.
