    I’ve watched this video a half dozen times.
    Such a gifted young talent.
    Here’s another one you might like.

    I’ve received Sarah’s first full-length CD, Suburban Nature (I ordered it shortly after starting this thread) and I really like it. Doing some more research on her today, I discovered that her debut EP, Even Born Again was re-released on CD yesterday by Kirtland Records. I just ordered it from Amazon.     This gal sounds brilliant- live from Billboard despite the “makeshift” cajon drum set (seems like something Butch Norton would experiment on) and the very dusty violin.
    Although it’s a big celebration of Canada Day on July 1st ( a la the U.S. 4th of July ), I’m strongly contemplating seeing Sarah in concert in Buffalo.

    Yeah, I missed that performance at The Earl, LWJ. I was tempted to go, but Sarah was the opener, & I didn’t want to be left “wanting more” after a short set. Then, something came up that prevented me from going, so it became moot.

    Sarah does have a new EP, The Way Sound Leaves a Room, coming out on September 27th. You can listen to one of the tracks from the EP, “Sucker For Your Marketing”, at the above link (scroll down to the audio player at the end of the short article).     Yup, I also missed seeing Sarah in Buffalo on July 1st-Canada Day holiday.
    The cross border traffic was too much.
    I see Sarah will be on the Cayamo boat cruise in 2012 along with Lucinda and many others.
    I really like her voice, and it was fun seeing her playing percussion in one of her videos.

    tntracy, a head’s up if you want to catch Sarah at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre.
    She will be appearing there with Norah Jones on June 23rd.
    No luck for me from her tour page.
    I see she not only has a re-designed web site but also a new hairdo.
    I’ll have to check with my local record shop to see if they can order Sarah’s new Album “The Body Wins”

    Thanks for the heads up, LWJ, but Norah Jones at the Fabulous Fox is “too rich for my blood”. I’ll have to await a much more affordable show where Sarah is headlining at some dumpy little venue… 😉

    Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see Norah Jones. But at $75 after fees, I can see a Sarah Jaffe headlining show at a place like the EARL 4 or 5 times… 😆
