Red on Green? Chuck Prophet?

The name of the band is Green On Red, and was Chuck’s original band, but ironically enough he wasn’t the main singer whose name was Dan Stuart, who recorded a great album with Steve Wynn (Dream Syndicate) in the late 80’s under the name Danny and Dusty, which is a great record and worth searcing out. They just recently put out a second record which I haven’t heard yet.
The Green On Red records are great and somewhat hard to find, although I believe some of their catalog still being in print. I recall that there is a great double cd collection, but i don’t know if that is still around.

Green on Red was one of my favourite band in late 80’s.

i discovered them with record “Here come’s the snake” (their best record as far as i’m concerned with “This time around” & no free lunch) & nearly got all cds from the band & members solo’s project (chris cacavas,chuck prophet,dan stuart)
I bought last year Green on red-bbc sessions
There is an japan greatest hits of Green on red with 2cds set, 2nd cd a live that i hardly recommand if u have tou buy a “best of”

i recently listened to a chuck prophet’s gig & it was a little bit “boring”
Bring back GREEN ON RED alive!!! 🙂

thanx to ur post, i ‘ve just made a search 5h ago & realized that there was a dvd released…
i stopped listenin to chuck since “age of miracles ” record (to GoR since scapegoats record but bought bbc sessions last year) 😳
didn’t know that he gonna tour in europe(gonna check if there is a Paris’s gig), last time he played guitar for Calvin russel’s tour in France & miss that gig 😥 …

Go & buy some GoR records ,u won’t be disappointed.(Hardly recommanded for Lu’s Fans too 😉 )
