    I wanted to follow up with some info in regards to the question that arose about pre-ordering Blessed from Amazon. When I saw their pricing I was concerned it was incorrect and the early orders would be charged a higher price than those who were closer to street date. I have confirmed the answer to that question. Amazon, who typically goes early on the presale even if they don’t have the cover artwork, uses what they call “dynamic pricing” -what that means is the more orders they get the more the price goes down. They do price protect so if you’ve ordered it at $15 for instance and it drops to $9.99 on 3/1 you will be charged that price even though you ordered it at $15.
    While I don’t want to tell anyone where to pre-order it from I do think it only fair to let you know that the current plan is that we will be also doing a direct pre-order here on the website and we are planning to have something extra for those that order it here. I apologize that I don’t have more specifics- our pre-order was held up waiting for the artwork to be decided and now that we have that it should be put up here very soon-I am hoping by the end of the week.

    Tom, I am a long-time Amazon customer, & buy things from them quite frequently. Several times I have pre-ordered CDs from them, and they always give you the price in effect when it ships regardless of the price at which you pre-order (just like you describe).

    However, given the info you just passed on about the pre-sale here, I am now waiting to see what the “lagniappe” will be… 😉

    Hey Tom O, when do you expect this pre-order on the web site ?
    I’m ready to place my order for the surprise baker’s dozen or as tntracy puts it a lagniappe.

    Any up date as of now on pre-ordering ?
    Or, since I’m seeing Lu and Levon in Toronto on March 4th, will there be a well stocked merch. table to purchase the deluxe “Blessed” ?
    Also, will the Kitchen Tapes contain all 12 songs and will it have it’s own unique artwork cover ?

    Pre-order info coming soon -just getting thru some clearances etc. at Universal. The Kitchen Tapes does contain all 12 tracks sequenced in the same order as the regular album. It will not have separate artwork it will just be in a second sleeve in the deluxe package.

    Sounds good about being able to order the new CD on this site, Tom. However, will it be available to those of us in the UK, as I can’t find anywhere apart from Amazon.com I can order the deluxe CD from, and that would mean waiting well into March for it to arrive?

    Amazon has it dialed in pretty well- I preordered West and Lil’ Honey and believed they were at my door the day of release…or possibly the next.
