Per Rolling Stone Lu had a stoke in November and was in ICU for 1 one week followed by 4 weeks in a facility. Not fully recovered yet but prognosis is 100%.

Just listening to some of Lucinda’s music this evening (Blessed) in Wellington, New Zealand.
What an incredible song-writer and singer she is,
I just found out that she has been unwell, my heart is fractured by the thought that we may lose the one and only woman to give us insight into the human condition as well as the beauty Lucinda’s voice has given us over many years.
I send her my best wishes for her recovery and look forward to listening to her new work soon.
