    1 Blessed
    2 Something Wicked…
    3 Pineola
    4 Drunken Angel
    5 West Memphis
    6 2 Kool. . .
7 Compassion [Lu mentions Miller in intro, without mentioning the death]
8 When I Look at the World
9 Lake Charles [with some confusion prior, Stuart late returning to stage and David and Butch primed for a different song]
    10 Jackson
11 Are You Down [perhaps in tribute to Buick 6 having opened the show, Lu leaves the stage entirely for about a minute and a half instrumental break]
    12 Protection
    13 Everything but the Truth
    14 Changed the locks
    15 Unsuffer Me
    16 Essence
    17 Joy
    18 Honeybee
    _______________________________
19 Mama You’re Sweet [sans Mathis, with Butch doing a mean maracas percussion front of stage]
20 Magnolia (not quite ten minutes, but I believe this is the first live song choice since the album came out of a song which David and Butch played on in the studio version)
    21 Hot Blood
22 Rockin’ in the Free World

Hey, who had that encore sequence in the office pool? Nicely done, Lu confident and steady throughout. Nice standing GA crowd. And it’s pronounced Ponte (one syllable, short vowel sound) Vedre (two syllables with long e sound)–unlike my phonetic “Pointy Ved”, quickly corrected by my Hertz shuttle driver. Let’s say greater Jacksonville. Sweet.

You’re in mid-season form, Professor. Thanks for your reportage & commentary. 🙂

It’s always good when the road warrior keeps us abreast <— [word play from previous post] of all things regarding Lu tour.

I would have loved to witness “Mama You Sweet” with Butch front and somewhat center. I love that song. It spoke to me in 2007.

Great recap of the show as per usual stoger.
I agree with Lafayette about Mama You Sweet. love the tune.
Was one of the other 4 horsemen {a.k.a.West Words] also in attendance ?

Haven’t heard mention of “Buick 6” in a long time. I did see the original with Doug, the Chet, Butch and David back in Ottawa, ON in ’07 and I am in possession of their autographed CD. ( You know the one with Blaze Foley duct tape on Lu’s face).

I see Rockin’……continues to end the show which is great. Does Lucinda have to mail royalty checks to NEIL ? 😆

West Words was NOT at the show, which was only a half-hour from home!! West Words had a ticket, and was very much looking forward to going, but was sick in bed with a nasty flu bug. 😥 Am hoping to make Orlando on Friday.

I believe the correct pronunciation is PON-tuh VEE-druh.

Thanks for taking care of my reporting responsibilities, Stoger. Will you be at the Orlando show?

I’m thinking one syllable in the first word of the city, but I may be wrong. And thanks two of you for ungrammaticizing the title of the first encore song, which of course is not “You’re” but “You.”
