TO put out a tease on Facebook for upcoming shows in May and June. I did a quick google search and found the show at the Orange Peel. I just couldn’t resist searching once that tease was put in motion.

Songkick is great for aggregating shows. The others listed, thus far, are no surprise.

tickets on sale Friday the 28th for this Orange Peel one, lafayette, with more likely TBA. High Road lists a different TX festival than here, so we’re looking back to back nights in mid-May there. EEh ha!!!!!!!!!

Is the Orange Peel on your itinerary, stoger? I’m looking long and hard at that one, dependent on proximity of yet-to-be announced shows.

Asheville!! I have to try to get an appointment with Ingles or Earth Fare to justify a work trip. Love the Orange Peel! 😀

Oh, it could be a reunion of sorts, West Words. I love the Orange Peel, too.

Heads up on new policy. The Orange Peel now offers a VIP experience which includes early entry for VIP members and their guest. Memberships are sold on a monthly basis. More info on the website.

The Orange Peel’s sign logo is rather catchy indeed.
“Social Aid & Pleasure club” 😆

I hope West Words can combine business with pleasure and avoid a nine hour drive as per Lu’s last appearance at the Orange Peel (one of her top 10 live music venues).
Take a look at the three pages of postings from March 16, 2011. Wish I could make it to NC

Sounds great stoger. Shall we meat at Barleys Taproom before the show like we did last time?

sure thing. Didn’t we do Black Mountain too, or was that a different tour?

Yep, the Orange Peel was March 2011 and Black Mountain (Pisgah Brewery outdoor concert) was October 2011. Lucinda on a Friday night in Asheville during Springtime is hard to beat.

Hey Stog & RDM (and of course, Lafayette), glad to hear you’ll be at this show. I wish TNT could be convinced to drive north. I just landed in Asheville, and the hotel clerk informed me that it is Beerfest Weekend and that the streets will be packed with revelers. Sounds like anything could happen.

Oh man, Asheville in Springtime and beer in the streets AND Lucinda!?! This is going to be fun.

I’ll probably find my way to Barley’s Taproom before the show

I wish I could as well, West Words but, truth be told, I’m kind of glad I’m not there – four nights in a row would do me in, I am afraid – I don’t know how the intrepid stoger does it. At any rate, my stamina (or lack thereof) aside, I have an early-morning (7:00 AM) commitment tomorrow to the rescue with which I volunteer, otherwise I probably would have hitched a ride with stoger. I seriously considered it, surprising you & Lafayette, until I remembered my aforementioned commitment… 😉

Have fun & stay safe, y’all…

    Tom
