Odds and Ends

In New Orleans, Lu played Memphis Minnie’s “Nothin’ in Ramblin” and “Crescent City” back to back.

In Austin, we got “Nothin’ in Ramblin” again, duet with Stuart after “Ghosts” solo. The show was marred by a power outage/fire alarm incident three quarters of the way into “I Lost It.” Lu started it over about 25 minutes later.

I skipped San Antonio, but word has it both “Concrete and barbed Wire” and “Foolishness” got standing ovations upon mention of the words “wall” and “walls.”
