To answer Lwj’s question in the Levon Helm tribute show thread -it is very doubtful there will be any more shows in the Northeast but she will be making the following special appearances:
10/3 — Levon Helm tribute show (New Jersey)
10/6 — New Yorker Magazine Festival (short solo set and both a one on one interview with a New Yorker writer as well as questions from the audience (New York)
10/14 – Woody Guthrie 100th Anniversary show -this will be the final celebration of Woody’s 100th Birthday shows that have been taking place this year. Lucinda will be debuting a song co-written from previously unreleased Woody Guthrie words (Washington DC)There is also a chance of one more special appearance the weekend of 10/20 & 21 that is not confirmed yet.
check the article they did with Bruce….quite lengthy and thorough, I can’t wait to read Lucinda’s article!

Probably not supposed to say anything official yet but Lucinda will be at this year’s Bridge School benefit.

HA! perhaps a west coast gathering of the friendly forum? I’ve not been to the Bridge School Benefit in the past but have always wanted to go. And of course, Shoreline is an old favorite venue of this deadhead girl – many fond, yet foggy, memories. hahaha
