I’m a long time Lucinda fan, but a newbie to this site.
Going to see her at the Indigo arena this coming Sunday, have standing tickets.
Has anyone been to this venue before? What are the acoustics like? How near to the stage do you get?
I’m used to seeing her at Shepherds Bush Empire or Hammersmith Apollo so this show should be interesting.
I was at an aftershow wishing to see Prince there last august.
It’s rather small like a Disco club in the 70’s : a small stage not very high, a large dancing floor near the stage and a bar behind.
There are some seats on the 1st floor.
If you stand on the dancing floor, you can be some meters (1 meter = 3 feet) from the stage.
I heard some boots from Prince recorded there and the sound is really good.
I think it’s a very nice place for Lucinda if you accept to stay standing.
