Nobody’s Darlin’s

I ran a search and I’m shocked that there are no posts for my new favorite band, Lucero. That makes sense since I saw them in Baltimore and so few people showed up, they closed off the upper balcony. Anyway, the same gene that makes me absolutely love Lucinda makes me a Lucero fan. Dirty, gritty, emotional stuff served with cornbread on the side…boy howdy! I’d say that if the Replacements were from Memphis, they might sound like Lucero. They have so many awesome songs, here are links to a few.

Okay, I’m being obsessive but I just feel that Lucinda and these guys are onto something. Something that we feel every day but nobody else puts into their music.

By the way, there is an Hispanic pop singer with the same name. I don’t recommend her to this crowd.
