Our intrepid reporter Stoger files this report from the field:
After “Those 3 Days,” Lu reflected at length on the astrology behind the Scorpio sign, then segued into some zoology about the body of scorpions.
After “Blue,” Lu apologized for having dropped the final vocals, singing a few lyrics a capella.
Before “Where the Song Can Find Me,” Lu talked about the concept of the Muse and the writer/artist as a “vessel,” saying she believes in this.
The new song “This is Not My Town” has a spoken coda after the instrumentation ends, based on Morrison/The Doors. Lu introduced it by saying it could be any town.
On to night three. Oh, the opener was the New orleans band Loose Cattle, who have cut a cover of “Crescent City,” though they didn’t play it live. They open again tonight.
