David, not a Facebook fan but was curious.
Viper Room says at 11:51 a.m.PST today less than 20 tickets remaining-heading for a sell out.
Certainly a great lineup with Doug P. and the shits.
Looking forward to the reports from those in this forum attending.
I betcha Lu’s solo shows coming up in Tour 2011 will do great in sales.lwj
Here’s to wishing and hoping… With only 100 tickets available one would hope that the Vroom would be “heading for a sell out.” As for the solo and pending tour, I am holding on to a wish-and-a-prayer. In light of where things left off from the last tour along with the continuous inactivity in regards to new sounds/vids/stuff/ticket sales being availed on this site, concerns continue to be mounted as it relates to delivery of LWs sounds and music…

Hey David, I believe 250 tickets were made available as per TO (not 100),being the total capacity in the upper level of Vroom.
Re: the site inactivity, a new Facebook page was just started by New Reach Consulting. ( Remember Ralph aka WebMasta-he runs New Reach and has many clients besides Lu.
He has started things off with a sweepstakes contest to see one of his clients in LA.= 2 plane tickets from anywhere in the US plus show tickets.

You are exactly correct, L and thanks, for the correction. Either way, I am simply concerned by the message in terms of a high ticket price (especially in light of a “complimentary bottle of Jack, Absolut, or French Beer”–seems like way too much pricing wiggle room and against those who are buying pairs or singles, etc) and with it not selling out rather quickly, an interesting outcome. The last tour was marred by similar ticket sales and mixed pricing strategies so we’ll just have to wait and see, right? Also, I will be surprised when any substantial updates are shared on this site. Why “talk” about what’s in the can, why not just post the results like so many other musicians do (I know, I have said this before!)? It does not have to be that difficult. The days stretch into months and the months, years…
