copenhagen and seeing black right in the middle of the album and one after the other should be devastating.
Sorry, but after another listen, I don’t think Kiss Like Your Kiss is a great song. It’s a good song – okay as a soundtrack song but that’s where it should have stayed. To me it’s the kind of song lu can write and sing in her sleep; the lyrics has lots of interesting colour imagery but it doesn’t have enough depth.
I hope the rest of the album is better than this.
I bet it is released on vinyl. The last 4 releases have been. I always buy her albums on cd and vinyl.
Now that 6 or 7 tracks from Blessed have been performed by Lu in Ventura and Saratoga, can you publish the lyrics for us now TomO? ( assuming it’s OK with Lost Highway pre release )
It would be very much appreciated to see Lucinda’s musical poetry again in detail.

Lu only announced the title on FB August 1st and these torrents have just been posted this week.
Maybe it’s just a generic caption that Lucinda is indeed blessed?Some details on this link.

No date has been set yet -we are shooting for late Oct or early Nov. but some things (artwork) have to get done in a hurry for that to happen.
Right now it is looking like the release date is going to be 1/11/11, as we are still doing some fine tuning and at this point to try and make Nov. would be rushing it, and we’re feeling really good about the record so we want to get it right. More news coming soon.

The same day Over The Rhine releases their new record. Amos releases Jan 25. Lots of Lu in January to chase away the winter blues!
