and oh, so sorry for those lame comparisons (i don’t know how you’re livin’ and little angel, little brother shares just a THEME, that’s it), i just felt like commenting on each song.
and born to be loved has nothing to do with convince me, same thing buttercup & ugly truth. just an . . . aura?

You know how it is with a new album – first you fall for one song, then you listen some more, then you love another one better. Then a third one mesmerizes you. I’ll have to listen to it for about two weeks straight before I’ve taken it in enough to be able to decide. 🙂
I think we all can agree, though, that Blessed is magical.

Take a look at the MEDIA page.
You can download “Blessed” press photos in many different formats.
You can also see and print the official Sell Sheet.
Take a close look at the details in the Sell Sheet-gosh, I’m not old enough to buy Penthouse 😆lwj

I’m a longtime fan of Lu’s, but I don’t think I’ve ever been struck by one of her albums as much as BLESSED (listened on NPR). To me it sums up her the themes in her career so wonderfully while moving forward to a place of serenity as well. I am in awe of how each track continues the emotional impact of the overall album. It’s rare to find an LP so cohesive. Her songwriting is stunning, but even more so are her poetic lyrics. I am always equally as moved by her wordsmithing as I am her melodies. Wonderful, exquisite album. I cannot wait to see her in concert for the first time ever in Atlanta!February 23, 2011 at 3:34 pm #43307tntracyParticipantFrom a fellow Atlanta (area) resident, welcome to the forum, JClay!

#4 in Music > RockAND, the price is now down to $11.99. Per TomO’s explanation of dynamic pricing, I would assume this could be attributed to higher sales volume. 🙂
Right after the Grammys it looked like there was a big spike in sales for the award winners, and there’s still some residual effect in the rankings. It’s great that Blessed is holding its own despite that.

Does it come with a lyric booklet too (like West and World Without Tears did)

February 28, 2011 at 10:23 am #43316arthurlyParticipant‘Copenhagen’ and ‘Seeing Black’ – two sides of Lucinda – the outstanding tracks for me. And ‘Awakening’ is a real slow burner! 8)
