Just curious if there are any updates on a new record. While in Chicago during the three-night stand, Lu mentioned she was very excited to begin recording another album. I believe she mentioned this on night three.
Anyway, great news on the Grammy nomination for Little Honey!!
Lucinda has been working on bits and pieces of songs that she is going to hunker down and finish. We have plans to begin some early pre-production soon after the first of the year, and the goal is to have a new record out by this time next year. She is really excited about getting to work on it, and we have been talking a lot about what direction it will take, but ultimately the songs will dictate where it goes, and I haven’t even seen any of them yet, with the exception of Port Arthur. She keeps them close until they are ready to be born.

I was doing further “detective” work on the search for the shortened version of “Blue”-see other thread.
I typed in Lucinda Williams Blue and this was one that came up.
Note the viewers comments on the song as per the link below. Also the artist’s. Re Lu going to Australia.
