    The “Shows” tab for this website is listing some new shows in California for Jan. 2012, including Napa and Grass Valley in Northern California, and Solana Beach near San Diego, in Southern California.

    If there’s an opener for the Belly Up show, the Rocksliders or Sara Petite are local favorites/if they’re available (I noticed they don’t have Lucinda on the calendar yet).

    I purchased a ticket for the Jan 27 show at UCLA…just in case. I’m going to try my bestest<

    This morning’s posting to the Belly Up E-Mail list enables a presale opportunity for the Jan. 26 show. The show is advertised as: “An intimate evening with Lucinda Williams, performing some songs solo acoustic, and others accompanied by her guitarist Blake Mills”.

    Sounds good Paul, but a Thursday night in Solana Beach sounds not doable. I will wait the extra 24 hours for the Royce Hall show. 😥

    I think we now have this mini-leg with Lu & Blake finally locked in and I don’t expect any additions. Here are the dates as I have them now

    1/18– Santa Cruz
    1/20– Napa
    1/21– Lake Tahoe
    1/22– Grass Valley
    1/24– Ventura
    1/26– Solana Beach
    1/27– UCLA

    Most likely these will be the only shows in the US until the summer. But of course everything is subject to change.

    Ok- I lied -we just added another show to the Jan. dates:
    1/17- Santa Ana

    I don’t anticipate adding any more. But there’s a lot of things I didn’t anticipate.

    If you search into TicketFly for Lucinda, you will encounter the Ventura show, and a show at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano for Jan. 17. The San Juan show is now displayed on High Road Touring and the Coach House website, and emulates TOverby’s recent suggestion of a show in Orange County for that night.
